香港著名攝影師何藩新書，復刻1959年文集《街頭攝影叢談》——16章節探討街頭攝影的理論與實踐

大家認識的何藩，是一名導演、著名攝影師，其實他的文字也寫得很好。對攝影有獨到看法的他，1950年代曾在當時的《海光半月刊 Hai Kwang Fortnightly》連載撰寫關於街頭攝影的文章，及後在1959年結集成書《街頭攝影叢談》。

絕版逾半世紀，想必如今的年輕人讀過原書的寥寥可數，因此曾出版《念香港人的舊》和《感情‧感悟‧感覺》兩本何藩作品集的香港出版社WE Press，在今年七月重現何藩這本經典文集。 書籍封面印上何藩對攝影看法的文字：「真正好的照片不在相機，而是在你本身，是在你的眼，在你的腦，在你的心，不是在於冰冷的機器。」

此書共有16篇文章，分為「街頭人物與真實感」、「決定性的時機」、「光線的運用」、「街頭人物與招牌文字」、「人情味」與「幽默感」，「非寫實的街頭攝影」、街景的條型剪裁、「從沙龍觀點看街頭攝影」等主題，輔以何藩的多幅攝影名作，探討街頭攝影的理論與拍攝心得，讀者可依感興趣的話題跳著閱讀。

在「變格的街頭攝影」一章中，何藩分享名作《斜影》的創作過程，原來拍攝前他曾用紙筆畫出設計圖：一面白牆、一道陰影、一個少女、壁上空無一物，此乃題材之「單純」。

相比起何藩之前的作品集，《街頭攝影叢談》圖文並茂剖析他的創作歷程，可見他對攝影、創作、生活的獨特見解。對於不甚熟悉何藩的人而言，也可從書中精選的逾60幅名作，感受昔日純樸真摯的⺠風，了解其作品與風格。

何藩 (1931-2016) 生於上海、1949年移居香港，何藩被譽為「東方布列松」、光影魔術師，他對光影十分講究， 作品構圖鮮明，獨特的光影營造出或戲劇感或詩意美感。他拍攝的市井百態照片，充滿人文氣息，記錄那年代香港人的艱苦和堅韌。何藩作品被M+博物館、香港文化博物館、美國三藩市現代藝術博物館等機構收藏。
